We are looking for a Senior Growth Startup & Existing Business Advisor to join our Business Gateway Service within Economic Development. This role is based in Aberdeen, covering Aberdeen City & Shire, and offers a chance to make a significant impact on the local business community. You will create, develop, and manage a portfolio of businesses along with managing and supporting a small team of business advisors.
As a Senior Growth Startup & Existing Business Advisor, you will play a vital role in driving the success of both new and existing businesses.
Business Gateway Aberdeen City & Shire is delivered by Aberdeenshire Council on behalf of both Aberdeenshire Council & Aberdeen City Council.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
The base location for this role is Woodhill House, with travel throughout Aberdeen City & Aberdeenshire. The role is full-time permanent; however, flexible working arrangements can be considered. The work style is hybrid and client-facing, involving a mix of office work, site visits throughout the region, and home working. It is a material condition of employment that the employee holds a current full driving licence and has a car available.
This role may require flexible, evening, and weekend working on occasion.
