We are looking for a Business Stream Director – Ground Engineering to join our Cementation team in Doncaster. The purpose of the role is to oversee and lead our Ground Engineering team and projects.
What you’ll do:
* Lead and manage the overall operations of Ground Engineering projects with Cementation Skanska, across UK and beyond.
* Actively lead the securing and delivery of projects, managing wide and diverse project teams.
* Provide strategic direction and leadership to operations, preconstruction, design and commercial teams in identifying and winning work.
* Coordinate and build collaborative relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
* Drive cross‑unit business development and improvement within Cementation Skanska while expanding opportunities with our partners.
* Deliver multiple schemes efficiently while leading the digitisation of operations and development of our works management system.
* Drive the highest safety, wellbeing and environmental standards and continuously seek improvements.
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Thorough knowledge of ground engineering techniques, construction methodologies, and relevant industry standards.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex and high value ground engineering projects within budget and to programme.
* Experience of delivering complimentary civil engineering works either by self-delivery or by sub-contracting and using software and tools.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
* An understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards / regulations in delivering our works.
