About us:
We are the MooD Team, part of the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. As our business continues to grow, we are interested in speaking with a Graduate IT Architect to join one of our live projects within our Defence team.
Role Location:
To ensure you receive the highest level of training, support & development for the Graduate IT Architect position, you will be required to work from our Bristol office 3 or 4 days per week.
The Opportunity:
As a Graduate IT Architect, you will be working within our Defence team and will work closely with our Defence customers to assist, influence, and provide guidance to their architecture and modelling challenges. Working alongside our experienced Architects to specify and develop the correct approach to their problem spaces and assisting where modelling provides the appropriate level of benefit.
Other typical responsibilities include:
1. You will be involved in the design & delivery aspects of a solution, in particular system integration and business architecture.
2. Working with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions that deliver business needs.
3. Participating in workshops with developers, consultants and customers to elaborate problems, model end-to-end business processes or design solutions.
4. Creation of data architecture to support solution development.
5. Understanding a customer’s requirements and translating them into business language and solutions.
6. Ensuring that the systems integration aspects of the delivery, including project requirements and scope definition, technical risk and effort are defined and executed.
7. Keeping ahead of current technologies, tools, and practices.
8. We pride ourselves in providing many opportunities to develop, progress, and grow within the role and the wider company, you will receive full training & ongoing support in the full Architecture lifecycle, including Architecture tools, such as ArchiMate & Togaf.

For our current requirement, we are looking for someone with:
9. Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or have a STEM-related subject with a minimum 2:1 classification or equivalent work experience.
10. Experience using SQL, HTML, and Java.
11. Ability to drive client relationships and effective team outcomes.
12. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation, presentation, and documentation.
13. Be a highly motivated and motivating individual.Ambitious, driven, and professional individual who demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment.
Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
