Job Description
Are you eager to be at the forefront of transforming clinical pharmacy? NHS Fife is seeking motivated pharmacists to join our expanding team, offering opportunities across sector-specific roles in GP practices and hospital wards. These patient-centered posts aim to develop your clinical and technical skills, supported by educational supervisors and the pharmacy team.
Successful applicants will be supported to complete the RPS Post Registration Foundation Training, including the independent prescribing qualification, to equip them with core clinical skills.
NHS Fife's Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate serves approximately 380,000 people with a dedicated team of around 300 staff. We pride ourselves on a vibrant, welcoming environment focused on patient care, staff development, and partnership working across hospital, community, and mental health services.
Fife offers excellent transport links and proximity to major cities like Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, and Glasgow. Previous hospital or primary care experience is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. The roles are also suitable for pharmacists in their postgraduate foundation year.
