We’re looking for enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisors to join our supply team, supporting secondary schools across Nottingham.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll help ensure learning continues in the absence of the class teacher. You’ll deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and keep students engaged and on task.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise whole classes during teacher absences across a range of subjects
Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff
Maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
Create a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment
Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and any concerns
Support students with their learning when appropriate
Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times
Requirements
Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths (A–C or equivalent)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage behaviour with confidence and calmness
Previous experience working with young people (desirable)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
