Hours: 22.2 hours per week (working days: Monday, Thursday, Friday)
About the Role
An FE college in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Fashion Business & Retail to join their team from September 2025. This role covers delivery to Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 learners across both theory and practical sessions, as well as tutorials and personal tutor responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons in Fashion Business & Retail to L1-L3 learners
* Conduct both theory and practical sessions
* Deliver tutorials and act as a personal tutor
* Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback (formative & summative)
* Maintain accurate registers and complete required administrative tasks
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
What We're Looking For
* Level 4 or above qualification in Fashion Business or a related discipline
* PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
* Experience teaching and/or assessing UAL qualifications is desirable
* Strong organisational and classroom management skills
