TIG Welder – South Wales
Full-Time | Days & Shifts available
We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a number of experienced Welders to join their skilled team for on-going temporary projects. This role involves welding aluminium and other metals to specification, ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and quality are met at all times.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret technical drawings to carry out welding tasks to spec
* Perform MIG/TIG welding on aluminium and metal components
* Inspect welded joints and surfaces to identify defects or faults
* Set up welding equipment and monitor temperatures during operation
* Ensure all work meets legal, safety, and company quality standards
* Operate machinery and tools in line with safety procedures
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
* Follow all H&S and PPE protocols, including COSHH and manual handling guidance
About You
* Previous experience in a welding role is essential
* Confident in MIG/TIG welding techniques and using manual tools
* Able to interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* A team player with a good work ethic and willingness to support others
* Good communication and basic IT skills
* Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is desirable
* Full UK driving licence preferred
