Purpose of the Role To provide robust financial support to the THG Experience division, with a primary focus on revenue and cost analysis, balance sheet integrity, and system reconciliation across a varied hospitality portfolio. The role will work closely with the Finance Director and wider operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed revenue and cost analysis across the THG Experience portfolio, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Complete month-end balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard and within agreed deadlines Maintain and reconcile data across multiple hospitality-based systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial records Prepare and post month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments as required Support the Finance Director with management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner, escalating issues where necessary Liaise with operational site teams to gather financial information and provide finance support during site visits Contribute to process improvement initiatives, particularly around system integration and reconciliation efficiency Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and group policies Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the wider THG Experience business as needed Skills & Experience Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent relevant experience Demonstrable experience in a finance role within a hospitality, leisure, or multi-site environment is desirable Strong reconciliation skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy Experience working across multiple systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms Solid understanding of revenue recognition and cost accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across finance and operational teams THG Ingenuity is proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
