SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support Role (Start: September 2026)

We are delighted to be working with a fantastic Primary School in Oldbury—one we’ve proudly supported with staffing for over three years—as they look to welcome a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to their team.
About the Role
Starting in September 2026, this is a full-time position supporting a child in Year 1 on a 1:1 basis.
Your role will involve:
Providing tailored, one-to-one support to help the child access learning
Building a strong, trusting relationship to support both academic and emotional development
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and interventions
Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive engagement in the classroom
This role offers the opportunity to make a real, lasting impact, with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

✅ What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is not only experienced but truly committed to supporting children with additional needs:
At least 6 months’ experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, or similar (desirable)
A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach
Strong initiative and the ability to adapt to individual needs
A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a difference
