Brands Direct Ltd is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant. Working within a friendly team, this role is best suited for someone looking to undertake an all-rounded position where Sage 200 experience is preferred, along with a good knowledge of MS Office
This is a highly varied and busy role that requires an adaptable and flexible team player with the ability to work under pressure, accustomed to multitasking and prioritizing workload. The successful candidate will be experienced in computer-based accounting processes and have worked in purchase ledger previously. They need to be accurate with processing and be able to follow processes correctly and systematically.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders.
* Check statements and chase for any missing invoices.
* Producing regular reports on outstanding PO's not invoiced for cash flow management.
* Investigating any issues with purchase orders
* Prepare suggested supplier runs before the 15th and the end of the month.
* Petty cash (foreign and sterling) processing and analysis.
* Review debtor and creditor balances.
* Analysis of staff company credit cards.
* Month-end reconciliations.
* Plan and liaise with the wider team to achieve month-end deadlines.
Key Skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong IT skills
* Ability to organise and manage workload to meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirement
* Two years of experience
* Study support is also an offer for those looking to begin AAT.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
