Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Project Management Specialist
to work on the behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Yeovil. This is a contract role for up to 2 years.
We are current seeking someone to work on behalf of a leading provider of integrated Avionics, Engines, Systems and Service solutions for Aircraft Manufacturers, Airlines, Business and general Aviation, Military, Space and Airport Operations. The Aerospace Yeovil Site includes Integrated Supply Chain operations and Engineering & Technology, as well as other support functions. It specialises in several product lines including: Environmental Control Systems, Life Support Systems, Hydraulics Systems and Control & Data Systems.
We are seeking experienced ISC Operations Program Managers to join our team at Honeywell Yeovil. In this role, the individuals will collaborate closely with Engineering teams on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring the timely progression of required hardware through operations. This includes managing both internal Make parts and External buy parts sourced from Suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with engineering to define and execute NPI project hardware timelines.
- Oversee the procurement and production processes for internal Make parts and External buy parts.
- Ensure that all hardware required for the engineering qualification program is delivered on time and meets project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may impact timelines or quality.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, operations, and suppliers to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices in project management to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations program management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of NPI processes and hardware qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross- functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
Success Metrics:
- Timely delivery of hardware for engineering qualification programs in alignment with project timelines.
- Effective collaboration with engineering and operations teams to ensure project success.
- Continuous improvement in processes leading to enhanced operational efficiency.
