Are you an experienced Transport Planner with strong Paragon experience looking for your next challenge in a busy, high-performing transport operation?
We’re recruiting for a fast-paced distribution business in Slough seeking a confident and organised Transport Planner to join a high-volume transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving operational challenges, and has experience managing complex route planning within demanding logistics environments.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient fleet utilisation, cost-effective route planning, and exceptional service delivery across a large-scale operation.
The Role
* Plan and optimise routes using Paragon routing software
* Manage daily transport planning for a high-volume fleet operation
* Maximise vehicle utilisation while maintaining service levels
* Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouses, and operational teams
* Monitor route performance, KPIs, and planning efficiencies
* React quickly to operational changes and resolve planning issues proactively
* Support continuous improvement across transport operations
* Ensure compliance with transport regulations and operational procedures
About You
* Proven experience as a Transport Planner within a busy logistics or distribution environment
* Strong working knowledge of Paragon is essential
* Experience planning within high-volume, fast-paced operations
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Transport compliance knowledge beneficial
