As the Head of ICT Infrastructure, you will lead a dynamic team of skilled professionals, overseeing the delivery of robust, secure and reliable ICT services across Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies. As part of the Senior Management Team, you will participate in the design and delivery of the whole ICT business plan with specific responsibility for: Network provision including security and physical infrastructure provision such as the constabularies vertical real estate portfolio Enterprise systems includes both server and database estate Applications both business and mission critical policing systems IT security responsibility for IT security provision with a close relationship with Information Security teams to ensure policy is delivered You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology landscape, ensuring the continuity of critical services and aligning our infrastructure with industry standards and emerging technologies. About you: The ideal candidate will possess: Essential Criteria: A degree in an ICT discipline or demonstrable extensive equivalent experience. Proven experience in a senior management role within a large, complex organisation delivering mission-critical services. Expertise in coordinating and managing multi-skilled technical teams across multiple sites. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. Experience in managing substantial ICT budgets effectively. A well-developed understanding of business planning, target setting, and performance monitoring. Deep knowledge of current industry standards and future technologies. Advanced proficiency in major incident management and business continuity/disaster recovery activities Desirable criteria: ITIL Practitioner/Intermediate level certification.
