Key Responsibilities
Income/Corporate Tax
1. Management and review of non-UK corporation tax filings.
2. Management and review of non-UK corporation tax payments.
3. Management and review of all non-UK partnership tax filings.
4. Update and maintain a global compliance calendar
5. Calculation of monthly tax accruals.
6. Monthly reconciliation of non-UK tax ledgers
7. Keeping abreast of updates in non-UK tax legislation
8. Liaising with non-UK finance managers in order to prepare year end group consolidated corporation tax charge.
9. Assist with compliance obligations of non-UK related secondments.
Group
10. Reconciling and calculation of profit extractions to the UK.
11. Assistance with reconciliation of group to local profit.
12. Liaising with non-UK finance managers to assist with tax matters.
Partner
13. Calculation of year end non-UK partner tax reserves.
14. Reconciliation of non-UK partner tax reserves.
15. Assistance with calculation of valve partner foreign tax payments and availability of foreign tax credits.
16. Managing the tax aspects of all non-UK joiners and leavers.
Other
17. Assistance with the filing and preparation of the tax aspects of the Country by Country Report.
18. Assistance and preparation of Pillar 2 reporting requirements.
19. Understanding of the firm's use of 3rd party tax advisers and identify ways to create efficiencies.
20. Assistance with tax aspects of new office openings.
Essential Skills & Experience
21. Ideally fully qualified with either one of these qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CTA. We may consider part-qualified if they have strong tax experience.
22. An experienced background in a tax related role
23. Excellent Excel skills
24. Experience using an accounting system
25. Excellent communication skills
26. Ability to work remotely
27. Ideally experience of international partnership structures
