Job Title: EAL Teaching Assistant – Helping New Voices Be Heard

Salary: £89–£95 per day

Can you help pupils settle, speak up, and feel at home in the classroom? We’re supporting a vibrant, diverse Bristol primary looking for a Teaching Assistant to support children who are learning English as an additional language.
What you’ll be doing:
* 1:1 and small group support for EAL pupils
* Building confidence through conversation, games, and stories
* Bridging classroom language gaps with care and creativity
You’ll bring:
* Experience supporting EAL pupils or strong communication skills
* A kind, encouraging approach
* Another language? Brilliant—but not essential!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
