About The Role
The Projects Manager is responsible for leading a small professional team to deliver capital, refurbishment and lifecycle projects across the College. The role ensures that projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality standards, while meeting statutory and contractual compliance requirements. The post holder will manage project budgets, contractors and consultants, and provide assurance on delivery to the Director of Estates & Environmental Sustainability.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of capital, refurbishment and lifecycle projects across all College campuses, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to specification.
* Manage a professional team including the Projects Officer and CAD Technician, setting objectives, monitoring performance and supporting development.
* Oversee project planning, feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover stages in line with College procedures and external regulations.
* Ensure all projects comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, including CDM regulations, planning consents, building regulations, procurement rules and health & safety standards.
