Offer description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.


You should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to successfully target, convert and service Football and Cricket teams with their Kit and Training wear requirements, from professional clubs through to grassroots.


You will be responsible for generating high quality leads, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships, achieving sales in line with the agreed targets and building strong and lasting relationships with our partner Clubs.


Develop an understanding of what each of our partner Clubs unique requirements are and ensure that they are provided with the right product mix across our Kit & Training wear ranges in order to meet the clubs expectations.



Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

* Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop and execute the sales strategy.
* Independently generate leads through market research, personal networks and targeted out reach whilst ensuring all activity is accurately recorded in our CRM system.
* Represent the Company at networking events and sales presentations, as required.
* Proactively engage with sports clubs to identify their kit and trainingwear requirements.
* Create and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals, including supporting materials such as kit visuals, club shop examples and sample kits where appropriate.
* Ensure all proposals align with commercial objectives, maintaining sales and margin targets.
* Lead the onboarding process of new clubs, facilitating a smooth relationship with the designated Account Manager.
* Work closely with the Account Manager, to manage the Club relationship and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Provide timely and accurate information to the Account Manager to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time and to the expected standard.
* Maintain a clear and updated sales and pipeline overview.
* Coordinate with internal departments to confirm product availability and delivery timelines.
* Support with any issue resolution, by collaborating with the Account Manager and Customer Service Team to address customer queries effectively.
* Consistently meet or exceed annual targets across new business and existing accounts.


Product Knowledge

* Develop and continuously demonstrate a strong understanding of Admiral’s full range of products and services.
* Stay informed on competitor offerings and market activity, providing regular insights and feedback to the wider team to support strategic decision making.


Future Planning

* Providing ongoing feedback to the Head of Sales on potential gaps in our product range and opportunities to enhance the overall Admiral offering, being informed by competitor analysis and insights gathered from partner Clubs.


Skills

* Extensive knowledge of Football and Cricket market.
* Strong decision making and problem solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and sales skills, with confidence in pitching and objection handling.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Effective time management and string organisational skills – both personal and team focussed.
* Target Driven.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
