Job Title: LeadEngineering Manager - Civils & Stations

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Manager to oversee a team of NEC3 Supervisors working on a major UK infrastructure programme across Civils and Stations. This is a leadership-focused role requiring someone who can provide technical direction, ensure delivery excellence, and champion quality across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of NEC3 Supervisors, ensuring consistent application of standards and procedures.
* Oversee competency, reporting, and performance KPIs across the supervisory function.
* Promote best practice in engineering supervision and drive continuous improvement.
* Attend and contribute to the Quality Leadership Forum, sharing insight and lessons learned.
* Manage implementation of disallowed cost processes for defects across contracts.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and contractor organisations to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience leading NEC Supervisor teams on major civil engineering or infrastructure programmes (mega-project experience preferred).
* NEC3 Supervisor accreditation (essential).
* Strong understanding of NEC contract principles, quality management, and defect resolution.
* Skilled in performance management, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
* Confident communicator capable of building rapport with senior stakeholders across multiple contractors.
* Willingness to travel extensively across project sites and regional offices.
