Role Purpose
Makes and administers the contractual commitments for commercial aircraft and related products, data, and services provided by the company. Develops, negotiates, and documents the terms and conditions of business and legal arrangements and manages risks assumed in support of company objectives. Participates in, leads, and coordinates team relationships that lead to a thorough understanding of customers and their requirements, effective long-term customer relationships, customer satisfaction through the meeting of commitments and continuous improvement of contractual processes.

Salary: From £49,097

Responsibilities
* Serve as a primary focal with the customer’s procurement team in the administration of the company’s Customer contracts.
* Work with cross-functional team to prepare Proposals and bid responses.
* Negotiate contracts and contract amendments.
* Support/Lead commercial participation in Customer Programme Reviews.
* Responsible for understanding general terms and conditions in commercial contracts.
* Management of claims to and from the customer.
* Analyse contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions.
* Develop negotiation strategies.
* Control of customer purchase orders for all recurring and non-recurring business activity.
* Liaison with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure problems are addressed including resolution of customer issues and commercial claims.
* Regular reporting to leadership on commercial performance, claims status and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure all additional post-contract signature changes and contractual requirements are priced and negotiated in accordance with business financial requirements.
* Manage members of the Commercial department
* Provide commercial guidance and support to all projects to ensure compliance to contractual obligations within established cost parameters.
* Provide Program support and a Contractual conscience to the business.
* Be a strong partner to the business.
* Policy and procedure process adherence.
* Manage department in accordance its procedures.
* Manage time management via Spirit systems for commercial function.
