Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions accurately. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain financial data confidentiality and integrity at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed. Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.Profile A successful Part Time Accounts Assistant should have: Experience working within the Accounting & Finance field. Part time hours to suit - maybe to fit in with school drop offs and pick ups so ideally reduced hours 5 days a week. A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
