Ready to support a brand-focused legal team? This role will be at our Head Office in Cheltenham, with a preference to be onsite daily, but you must be able to attend at least three days a week.
Role Overview
Superdry’s in-house legal team sits at the heart of the business and works in close partnership with key decision-makers. This role supports commercial legal, intellectual property and company secretarial matters, and helps deliver an effective legal, brand protection and IP strategy.
Responsibilities
* Support the commercial legal team with documents and contract management, including database management, contract lifecycle management and the coordination of workflows in our Legal Hub.
* Handle all types of team legal admin, such as printing, scanning, database searching, and support deadlines and activities across the team.
* Administer filing and prosecution of new trademarks, domain names and other IP to protect Superdry’s registered rights.
* Manage Superdry’s IP and Brand Protection matter management systems (WebTMS and DH Anticounterfeit).
* Use clearance and monitoring technology to identify potential IP risks.
* Coordinate trademark registry actions and proceedings worldwide with trademark offices, outside counsel and international advisors.
* Assist with document and evidence collation for IP and brand protection litigation matters.
* Manage external suppliers, including budget and invoicing processes.
* Maintain an agile, flexible approach to support the Superdry business.
Qualifications
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
* Experienced in managing varied workloads and prioritizing competing tasks.
* Legal background not required, but interest in legal work is essential.
* Confident interacting with external counsel and advisors globally.
* Proficient with technology, including systems such as IPPO (WebTMS) and Trademark Now; able to evaluate and present new tech solutions.
* Strong, clear communicator who collaborates well and builds rapport with stakeholders.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Computer literate, particularly with MS Office.
