Job Description:

As an Education Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role across our service in supporting the educational journey of students and contributing to the success of ALL our learning programmes.

* Would you enjoy supporting colleagues by providing professional Quality Assurance functions aligned to the requirements of inspection and funding requirements?
* Could you co-ordinate and lead Quality Assurance activity to ensure delivery of qualification and non-qualification learning meets the standards set out by Ofqual?
* Are you highly organised and could manage, monitor and successfully complete projects to support teaching colleagues?
* Would you enjoy delivering continuous professional development for all curriculum areas aligned to staff development needs?

* Professional knowledge and experience of educational Quality Assurance activities and processes
* Extensive experience of translating, and application of, the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF) to maintain standards, develop and implement service improvement
* Good personal organisation to meet challenging workloads and tight deadlines
* Good inter-personal skills and relationship building skills including tact, diplomacy and professional conduct
* Excellent communication skills, oral and written with the ability to interpret data and produce performance reports
* Professional knowledge achieved through qualifications $ú full Level 5 teaching qualification, a specialist skill and Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification
This is a permanent full-time post (37 hours). The Council does offer flexible working options should you wish to consider this.
