About The Role:
Shift Pattern: 4 day shifts between Monday and Friday
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out maintenance duties on a variety of machinery in the Post Press Publishing area (e.g., stackers, strappers, palletisers, conveyor belts).
* Conduct routine checks and promptly report any defects.
* Fulfil any reasonable requests from the OCS Management Team.
* Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements, including risk assessments, PPE, and manual handling guidelines.
* Report any potential health and safety concerns without delay.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Mechanical and electrical understanding of equipment and moving parts
* Strong communication skills
* Engineering background is advantageous
* Knowledge of and adherence to Health & Safety at Work procedures
