* Flow / ParkIT – the world’s leading logistic operational software and consultancy services to review product mix, deliver operational excellence, and grow capacity.

About ParkIT

We’re a software house dedicated to improving the way the world moves. Our Dynamic Allocation Services (DAS) product helps airports and operators make smarter, data‑driven decisions about vehicle movement, unlocking efficiency at scale.

The Role

We’re hiring a Technical Product Manager – Data Science to take ownership of the algorithms, data optimisation, and decision engine that is at the heart of DAS. This role blends mathematical problem‑solving, product management, and technical leadership to shape how DAS evolves and delivers real‑world, measurable value to customers.

* Act as the technical thought leader for DAS, applying mathematics and optimisation to solve complex operational challenges.
* Design, refine, and document new algorithms that power DAS, ensuring they are scalable, accurate, and commercially valuable.
* Define KPIs and performance measures, building evidence that enhancements deliver measurable results in live environments.
* Translate complex allocation logic into clear product requirements and work packages for engineering teams.
* Oversee the operationalisation of algorithms – ensuring correct implementation, thorough testing, and confident deployment.
* Act as DAS’s technical ambassador with customers, supporting onboarding, implementation, and demonstrating how DAS can solve their planning and analytical needs.
* Collaborate with Customer, Software Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure successful implementation of product backlog, roadmap, and strategic direction of DAS.
* Balance technical data science and product management to deliver our strategic product roadmap for DAS.

How We Hire For This Role

* A short intro call – a chance to say hello, learn more about you, and for you to ask any questions.
* Presentation task & interview with our hiring team – skills and competency‑based questions plus a presentation task reflecting the main aspects of the role.
* Final interview – a chance to meet senior members of the team and discuss more in depth, technical aspects.

Requirements

* A strong academic background in Mathematics, Data Science, or Optimisation (degree level or equivalent).
* Practical knowledge of Python and experience working with data models.
* Proven ability to design, improve, and measure algorithms, with a structured approach to defining KPIs and demonstrating success.
* Familiarity with decision‑support systems, simulations, or optimisation engines.
* Experience with Agile product delivery (backlog management, user stories, sprint planning).
* Excellent communication skills, able to simplify and present complex ideas to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
* A collaborative and pragmatic approach – thriving in a cross‑functional environment where theory translates into practice.

Benefits

* 25 days annual leave (+BHs), extra holidays through Holiday Buy, Birthday Day Off, and Sabbaticals at each milestone.
* Enhanced parental leave – up to 1 year off, including 13 weeks at 100% pay and 13 weeks at 50% pay.
* Road to well‑being: access to gym discounts, private dental insurance, and private medical insurance (after 4 years).
* Profit Share Bonus and pension scheme with Aviva.
* Social Club: 25% off any ticket or event in the UK, discounts on the latest tech, and a volunteering scheme.
* Income protection, critical illness cover, and life assurance.
