The Royal Alexandra and Albert School exists to give our children a distinctly different start in life, preparing them for the world with hope, optimism, compassion and empathy.

We are a co-educational, non-selective state boarding school, for boys and girls aged 7 - 18,. This is a boarding school with Flexi Boarding students attending from the local area and a lively community of around 400 Full Boarders,passionately involved in a wide range of after-school and weekend activities and trips.



Our Ofsted inspection of March 2024 states ”pupils are happy and well cared for at Royal Alexandra and Albert School. They benefit from positive relationships with staff across the school. Pupils feel safe, confident that if they report any concerns or worries they will be dealt with”.

We are looking for a PA to the Executive Head to join our School Office Team. The role is employed by the charitable foundation of the Royal Alexandra & Albert School.

This varied and busy role will require a degree of autonomy regarding scheduling and workload. Duties will include covering the reception and providing administrative support through undertaking tasks which require some generalist knowledge and skills, as well as assisting the EA to the Bursar in the day to day running of the Office.

The Successful Candidate Will Be

* Display high standards of customer service whilst multi-tasking and under pressure
* Have strong IT skills, including day to day experience of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn Google applications.
* Be able to research and implement new electronic systems and/or ways of working where appropriate
* Have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
* Be a self-starter
* Be confident to challenge the status quo, developing and implementing solutions
* Be a champion of continuous improvement, especially in process redesign
