Job Title: Lead Project Administrator Location: Plymouth Salary: up to £45,000 Per Annum Bonus Client: Our client is one of the UK’s leading independent power generation companies, operating a diverse portfolio of assets in the UK and Ireland. The organisation is focused on enabling the transition to low-carbon energy, delivering a flexible and reliable electricity supply through a combination of new builds, asset acquisitions, and the lifetime extension of existing infrastructure. Due to continued success, they are looking for a Lead Project Administrator to support them on their major outages and lifetime extension projects for their CCGT plants. Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for all administrative duties during the preparation and execution phases of the project. They will have an excellent working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications, as well as being highly organised and able to handle sensitive information in line with GDPR. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Project Manager, the key responsibilities and duties will be: Working in a lead capacity to ensure the smooth operation of the project. Providing general administrative services, including organisation of meetings, travel arrangements, accommodation, preparation of agendas, and recording of minutes to support senior staff to undertake their roles. Using the SAP system competently and accurately, including service entry sheets, goods receipting, and purchase orders as a minimum, whilst providing support and guidance in the proper use of SAP to other members of the team. Providing efficient correspondence and document management/control services. Developing, delivering, driving and supporting the Project Document Management System and process through electronic management systems, identifying important documentation within the business and work with relevant stakeholders to define document holders, methodologies for review, retention and archive. Ensuring that the project office policies for administrating documents are maintained, taking care of the update and organisation of all documentation received. Administering document retention in the company filing systems, management of designated mailboxes and incoming/outgoing post. Monitoring and maintaining office consumables and equipment. Assisting with budgets and financial tasks. Our Ideal Candidate Background Demonstrable experience of office practices and procedures – essential. Excellent knowledge of SAP (purchase orders, service entry, goods receipting) – essential. Demonstrable experience of working in a construction environment as an administrator – desirable.
