VDC Administrator – Thorne (DN8) – Leading Automotive Services Provider

Take your administrative career to the next level with a leading automotive services provider at our client's Thorne site.

You’ll be perfect for this role if you:

Thrive in fast-paced administrative environments

Are confident with Microsoft Office, databases, and spreadsheets

Have a sharp eye for detail and love keeping accurate records

Can organise tasks efficiently and communicate clearly with colleagues

Can commute daily to Thorne, DN8

What you NEED

Previous administration experience, ideally in technical, engineering, or manufacturing settings

Strong IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office, databases, and spreadsheets

High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What you’ll get in return

£25,000 – £27,000 basic salary

Company pension (EE 5% & ER 3%)

Company Profile
Our client is a leading provider of technical and distribution services to the automotive industry, with a strong reputation for quality and efficiency. The Thorne site plays a key role in vehicle distribution, refurbishment, and remarketing, supporting operations nationwide.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide full administrative support across all site functions and departments

Review and time technical and refurbishment work on vehicles to ensure maximum revenue capture

Prepare accurate invoices and produce regular management reports to support operational decision-making

Administer vehicle sales and auction requests, manage vehicles through refurbishment and distribution processes, and support wider remarketing activities

Collate and dispatch all necessary documentation for sold vehicles, handle incoming post and enquiries promptly

Ensure compliance with site rules, Health & Safety standards, and environmental requirements
