Vision for Education are currently recruiting Music Teachers in Stoke-on-Trent to work across a range of secondary schools in the area, with roles available from September.
About the Role
As a Music Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality Music lessons in the absence of the regular teacher or as part of a longer-term placement. You will inspire students to develop their musical knowledge, performance skills, and appreciation of music while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.
This role is ideal for qualified Music teachers seeking flexibility, a better work-life balance, or varied experience across different school settings. Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)
2. Encourage creativity, musical performance, and student engagement
3. Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
4. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Manage behaviour in line with school policies
6. Assess and monitor student progress where required
7. Provide feedback to teaching staff and departments
8. Support extracurricular music activities where appropriate
