Job title: Public Protection Compliance Officer
Liverpool City Council is looking for a dynamic professional to join our public protection enforcement team. In this role you will carry out a wide range of duties across the full range of the Regulatory and Licensing Service provision and work closely with other enforcement agencies and external partners such as the Police, HMRC and Border Force.

Working Hours: 21 hours per week
Location: Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool

Conduct investigations, attend court or committee proceedings, and liaise with a variety of stakeholders to enforce regulatory and licensing obligations.
Qualifications
Applicants should have the ability to apply legal knowledge to resolve problems, willingness to lead investigations, and experience dealing with confrontational situations. Good interpersonal and customer care skills are required, along with the ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
