The role of Maintenance Surveyor will include:
1. Undertaking property inspections in line with organisational policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and contract performance
2. Project management of planned works
3. Attending and contributing to onsite meetings
4. Coordinating and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they are kept informed of progress by providing clear and precise updates
5. Managing external contractors to ensure maintenance work is carried out in accordance with contract specifications and programmes
6. Carry out stock condition surveys as required
Skills and experiences:
7. To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to AssocRIC, MRICS CIOB, Degree, HND or HNC in Surveying or Construction or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Proven experience in working with others to deliver property related works, including indirect reports and third-party suppliers
10. Experience of working within a building, surveying and maintenance environment
11. Working knowledge of legislations and best practice
12. Proficient user of Microsoft packages
13. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

24. Role salary is £36,850 with an additional policy allowance of £5,549 per annum (rising to £38,790 with an additional policy allowance of £5,841 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
