Secondary Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full-time and temporary

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new long-term role?
Premier Education are currently supporting a Bury secondary school in their search for an experienced Teaching Assistant. You'll be supporting pupils across the curriculum. The role is 5 days per week March - July 2026.
Responsibilities
· Your duties and responsibilities will include supporting different classes under the supervision of the class teacher. You may also carry out interventions depending on your skillset and experience
· Shadow multiple teachers and work closely with them
· Working with different groups of students to improve attainment and progress academically
· Creating excellent resources for various departments
· Opportunity to learn how to plan sessions effectively and efficiently
Requirements
Recent graduate from a top UK university (academic subjects preferred). Other pathways such as Level 3 qualifications will be considered
Strong academic background (A Levels and GCSEs)
Positive and friendly manner
Genuine passion for working with children
Previous experience tutoring/coaching is desirable
Pay:
£88.92 - £110.00 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
