In this role you will: • Be the first point of contact for customers and responding to Freedom of Information requests, General Enquiries, Flood Risk Activity Permits enquiries across West Midlands. • Co-ordinate and respond to correspondence and enquiries, ensuring that customers receive responses within the agreed timeframe. • Facilitate effective working across the team by maintaining and developing information storage and retrieval systems and keeping information up to date and readily accessible. Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents. This may attract additional payment, and full training and workplace adjustments will be available to support you. We will provide relevant training so that you are successful in your role and able to offer technical and practical advice. You will also be offered opportunities for training in other workstreams, that include project management, planning, mapping and modelling.
