About Us: We are seeking an experienced and resilient Children's Home Manager for our 4-bed Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) Children's Home. Our home is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with EBD, and we are looking for a leader who is passionate about making a difference in their lives.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with OFSTED regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing the team to provide exceptional care and support to the children.
2. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
3. Ensuring compliance with OFSTED standards and achieving positive inspection outcomes.
4. Managing budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
5. Promoting a positive and therapeutic environment for children and staff.
6. Building strong relationships with external agencies, families, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Proven experience as a Home Manager in an EBD Children's Home.
2. In-depth knowledge of OFSTED regulations and a strong track record in inspections.
3. The ability to manage and inspire a challenging team.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
5. A commitment to promoting the welfare and development of children with EBD.
