Your Role
As a key member of our Scientific & Regulatory Affairs team, you will:
* Conduct a variety of regulatory activities related to raw materials, finished products, and packaging.
* Ensure compliance with food and product-related laws and regulations, particularly in food contact materials and food chemicals legislation.
* Proactively identify potential regulatory challenges and implement solutions to minimize risks.
* Collaborate on innovation and external projects to address regulatory issues impacting our products.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as nutrition, food science, biology, chemistry, or pharmacology. A Master's degree is preferred.
* Experience: Extensive background in scientific and regulatory compliance, particularly with food products or related categories.
* Proficiency in food contact material and chemicals law for Europe and the UK.
* A proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and project management.
* Experience working with trade associations and government agencies.
Your Key Responsibilities
In your role, you will:
* Monitor and provide guidance on scientific and regulatory activities in food contact materials and food chemicals legislation.
* Ensure that packaging materials meet regulatory requirements for timely and cost-efficient marketing.
* Develop and execute strategies to influence external scientific and regulatory landscapes.
* Represent Mars Wrigley in various associations, aligning agendas with business objectives.
* Build networks and partnerships to enhance our reputation and support business strategies.
* Lead complex, strategically important projects with local, regional, and global impact.
