Connectd is a UK-based platform that connects startups and scaleups with advisors and board members. It helps companies grow by matching them with experienced professionals, while supporting individuals in building portfolio careers. The platform offers tools, resources, and a structured pathway to advisory and non-executive roles. I'm currently looking to bring a few high-calibre individuals on board to help us accelerate our growth and establish ourselves as leaders in the fractional space.
Salary:
* 30k-35k Base
* 65k-120k OTE
Must Have Requirements:
* 1–3 years of experience in an outbound sales role such as SDR, AE, or telesales, or in a similarly communication-focused role like recruitment, account management, or customer success, where proactive outreach and relationship-building were key.
Desirable:
* Experience working in fast-paced deal cycles, typically ranging from 10 to 24 days
* Confident and persuasive when closing over the phone, with a proven ability to guide prospects through to decision
* Creative thinker who can adapt quickly, respond on the spot, and tailor conversations in real time to meet prospect needs
* Familiar with using CRM platforms such as HubSpot to manage pipelines, track interactions, and maintain accurate deal records
* Proven track record of consistently meeting and surpassing sales targets
What the job involves:
* Advisory Programme Sales: You'll be part of the team selling our two core advisory offerings, with a primary focus on our Transition to Portfolio programme
* Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial outreach through to close.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain full visibility and control over your sales pipeline, with a deep understanding of each opportunity you’re managing
* CRM Proficiency: Use HubSpot daily to track and manage deals, ensuring all activity is accurately recorded and transparent to the wider business
* Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets. With an uncapped commission structure, top performance is both expected and rewarded
Application process:
First-Stage Interview:
This will be a 30-minute formal qualification call conducted virtually with the Head of Sales in the UK. During the interview, we will review your experience, understanding of Connectd, and motivation for joining our team. Prep delivered upon confirmation.
Second-Stage Interview:
This interview will be a 45-minute to 1-hour session with our Global VP of Sales. It will include a brief mock pitch exercise, with instructions provided during the interview, followed by more in-depth, higher-level questions focused on your core expertise relevant to the role.
