In addition, the post holder will provide clinical leadership and be actively involved in service improvement activities.The Consultant Psychiatrist will be expected to work effectively with colleagues from other professional disciplines and deliver services consistent with the Trust policy for the Care Programme Approach. EssentialMB BS or equivalent recognised medical qualificationFull medical registration with a license to practiceApproval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act(or within 6 to 12 months of the time of interview/assessment) or equivalentDesirableRelevant higher degree, e.g. MD, PhD, MSc or other additional clinical qualificationsMRCPsych or equivalentManagement qualification or evidence of an interest in developing leadership skills.
