It’s a unique place to build a career where no two days are ever the same! The Opportunity We are looking for a reliable and skilled facilities maintenance operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role also requires trouble shooting and resolving issues to ensure the smooth operation of Stadium and Hotel, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks. What You’ll Be Doing Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks across the Stadium and Hotel. Ensure all facilities are maintained to brand standards and kept safe, presentable and operational. Respond to reactive maintenance requests from customers, front of house teams and managers. Carry out routine compliance checks, including fire alarm tests, emergency lighting tests and refuge point checks. Complete basic repairs and maintenance, including joinery, plumbing, drainage, painting, decorating and building fabric repairs. Support matchday operations, including responding to leaks, remedial works, plant equipment faults and other urgent maintenance requests. Assist with pre- and post-event stadium checks, identifying issues and completing appropriate remedial works. Support general grounds work, external cleaning, manual excavation and event set-up when required. Assist with emergency breakdowns, out-of-hours call-outs and maintenance cover for events and outground fixtures. Work safely and professionally at all times, supporting contractors, other trades, risk assessments and safe systems of work where required. What You’ll Bring Experience working as a general maintenance operative or multi-trade technician. Practical skills across a range of trades, including basic plumbing, joinery, decorating and building repairs. Experience working within a busy facilities management or maintenance team. A good understanding of health and safety requirements in a maintenance environment. Relevant machinery or equipment certificates, such as FLT, IPAF or PASMA, would be desirable.
