Role description: We are excited to be expanding our Education Cost Management team and are seeking an experienced Associate Cost Consultant to join us in delivering high-profile projects for leading national and global clients. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to a variety of projects, ranging from major international developments to smaller community-focused initiatives, ensuring each is delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise in cost management, planning, estimating, and budgeting will help drive innovation and outstanding project outcomes. Role accountabilities: Deliver Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services to high-profile Education clients Lead, coach, and develop team members to enhance skills and service quality Prepare project costings and budgets, managing finances for best value and profitability Oversee cost management assignments from inception to completion, meeting client expectations Demonstrate a strong understanding of client objectives in the Education sector Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with organisational policies Ensure projects meet contract requirements and delivery standards Analyse data and provide recommendations to inform project decision-making Apply industry best practice to improve processes and drive innovation Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities to enhance service and satisfaction Provide technical advice and support for successful project delivery Build strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders to drive satisfaction and new opportunities Qualifications & Experience: Share our passion for improving quality of life and the built environment Value collaboration and effective teamwork MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor Committed to innovation and delivering exceptional results Experience on large, complex projects in Education or related sectors Skilled in leading projects from inception to completion Strong in cost estimating, rate analysis, and benchmarking Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills Experience mentoring junior colleagues and providing leadership Proficient with Digital Cost Management tools such as CostX, 5D BIM, and benchmarking platforms Why Arcadis?
