About the Role & Grad2Teach Programme
This Graduate Trainee Business Studies Teacher role is part of the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme—a financially supported, classroom-based route into teaching.
You will:
* Begin by supporting and teaching Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
* Progress through Grad2Teach’s structured two-phase training model
* Work toward a PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University
* Receive a salary throughout your training—with no tuition fees required
* Benefit from expert mentoring, tailored coaching, and access to a curriculum aligned with the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework
Training Structure
Phase 1:
* Support lesson planning, delivery, and classroom organisation
* Assist in business-related projects, coursework, and exam preparation
* Develop strategies for behaviour management and inclusive teaching
Phase 2:
* Independently teach up to 18 hours per week
* Deliver engaging and relevant Business Studies lessons, linking theory to real-world applications
* Complete PGCE assignments and formal assessments

Candidate Requirements
To be eligible for this role, applicants must:

* Hold (or be working towards) GCSEs in English and Maths (flexibility may be available in Phase 1)
