This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects across the Midlands and beyond, advising developers, architects, and contractors on highway and transport implications for new developments. The Role As part of the development planning and highways team, you'll take ownership of the highway and transport aspects of planning applications, from initial feasibility through to delivery. You'll work closely with private developers, housebuilders, and design teams to ensure that highway proposals are safe, sustainable, and compliant with both national and local design standards-while also meeting client budgets and timelines. Key Responsibilities: ·Provide highways and transport advice to private sector clients on development proposals, masterplans, and site layouts. ·Review and assess design drawings for access, junctions, parking, visibility splays, and sustainable transport links. ·Advise on the technical requirements of Section 38 and Section 278 agreements, liaising with local highway authorities to secure approvals. ·Prepare and submit Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans as part of the planning process. ·...
