About the Role
We are seeking to hire an Automation Managed Service Lead to join the team in Impact Engineering. This role is based on a key customer site in Northern Ireland. This role involves leading and managing a team of cross-functional engineers on a customer site.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of cross functional engineers on a customer site
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Report on key metrics to the Impact Engineering Leadership team
* Project Manager for all Impact projects on site ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
* Act as the primary point of contact for the client, managing day-to-day relationships and addressing service-related concerns.
* Implement and maintain effective monitoring, reporting, and escalation processes
* Manage resource allocation to ensure service delivery is maintained without disruption
* Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
* Ensure that best practices, standards, and compliance requirements are adhered to in service delivery
Qualifications
* 15+ years’ experience of life sciences with growing levels of responsibility
* Technical degree in Engineering or related discipline
* Further post graduate qualifications in project management highly desirable
Required Skills
* Excellent ability for working with people and leading teams
* Energy, passion and vision to drive growth strategy
* Technical background in DeltaV DCS and Siemens/Rockwell PLC’s a strong advantage.
