We are looking for a Personal Assistant to help care for Jacobwho is based in Castle Douglas Jacob is a young boy who has Autism and ADHD. He enjoys being outdoors, visiting the animal therapy farm. He also likes going swimming,and on forest walks.
Support Required
To accompany Jacob to activities, this will include using your own car to get to activities. This post would be suitable for someone who has an understanding to autism and ADHD. The post is for 16 hours of support per week, days and hours to be discussed at interview flexibility would be advantagous.
Requirements
1. Clean Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
2. It is desirable that applicants have had previous experience in child support services,however, specific training can be sourced if the successful applicant has no previous experience in working in child support services.
3. It is important that the successful candidate/s are able to work as a team and communicate appropriate information to other PAs as and when required.
4. Post is subject to a satisfactory PVG.
5. Successful candidate must be willing to cover holidays and sickness also.
