Role: Management Consultant – Industry Consulting, Energy
Location: London
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

* Deliver successful consulting engagements to address our clients’ biggest challenges, driving lasting and distinctive outcomes and value in Energy for our clients.
* Address areas such as value case and value management, operating model design and transformation, cost & productivity improvement, net zero transition, analytics and big data, digital core transformation, risk & regulatory compliance.
* Solve sophisticated, ambiguous business, change and technology problems with structure, analysis, planning and decisive action with minimal supervision.
* Apply a thorough and structured approach to solving business problems and build trusted senior client relationships in the C-suite, while remaining attuned to client needs and styles.
* Enable and support business development and sales, partnering with leaders, clients, and consultants to bring the best of Accenture to clients.
* Support leadership to run Accenture’s business (cost management, contract management) with focus and integrity.
* Develop offerings within the Energy Practice and contribute to the growth agenda for clients.
* Lead the creation of thought leadership assets on market-relevant strategy topics to drive improved market presence externally.
* Develop and manage high-performing multidisciplinary Consulting teams; mentor others and contribute to performance management and recruitment.
* Prioritise diversity & inclusion across teams and champion value creation through change.


What we’re looking for

* Excellent understanding and passion for Energy industry trends and business models.
* Good understanding of Energy value chain (e.g., Upstream, Downstream, Integrated Gas).
* Knowledge and a personal viewpoint on key trends, including emerging trends and services.
* Proven experience in the energy industry, either in direct industry roles or in a consulting capacity.
* Strong background in implementing asset integrity management programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills; familiarity with consulting frameworks; experience in research, quantitative analysis, structured problem solving and executive communication.
* Proven track record of building and sustaining relationships with decision makers across leading organisations in the sector.
* Appreciation of how technology can contribute to solving clients’ problems; ability to operate at the business-technology bridge.
* Familiarity with core technology platforms used in the industry.
* Intellectual curiosity and ability to think innovatively about sophisticated issues and develop creative solutions.
* Ability to multi-task and work on different projects concurrently in challenging and ambiguous circumstances.
* Ability to handle ambiguity and identify opportunities through innovative thinking.
* Proven presentation skills, personal impact, and ability to lead senior meetings and workshops; strong written and verbal communication.
