What You’ll Be Doing
As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and insight across the region. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial reporting
2. Assisting with the business planning cycle, including annual budgets and monthly forecasts
3. Providing analysis and insight to support business performance, challenge results, and drive informed decisions
4. Supporting CAPEX planning and reporting, including project evaluations and forecasts
5. Contributing to value chain analysis and contract margin reviews to understand profitability across the business
6. Delivering performance reporting, including variance analysis, KPIs and benchmarking
7. Supporting financial forecasts and budgets, providing challenge where needed to ensure robustness
8. Building strong relationships with operational and commercial teams to support financial decision making
9. Ensuring compliance with internal controls, governance standards and accounting policies
10. Supporting senior stakeholders with presentations on financial performance, risks and opportunities
11. Contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting clarity
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative finance professional who is keen to add value and develop their career.
Essential experience and skills:
12. A strong finance background with sound technical knowledge
13. Actively studying or qualified accountant (or equivalent experience)
14. Experience producing and analysing financial reports, forecasts and budgets
15. Ability to interpret data and provide commercial insight
16. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
17. Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
Desirable:
18. Experience with SAP/BW systems
19. Experience operating within a matrix environment
