SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Ruislip
£95–£110 per day | Full Time | Immediate Start
I’m looking for an experienced and confident SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Ruislip. This long-term role is within a school that has a strong inclusion team and pupils who need structure, patience and someone who genuinely understands SEND.
The Role
* Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, social-communication needs or SEMH
* Working 1:1 and in small groups
* Using visuals, routine and simple strategies to build engagement
* Helping pupils regulate, focus and access learning
* Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher
What You Need
* Experience working with children – essential
* Experience supporting SEND pupils (school, SEN setting or specialist provision)
* Calm, patient and able to build trust with pupils
* Confident supporting pupils who may be non-verbal or find engagement difficult
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
