About the Role
As a locum Consultant in Ophthalmology (Insourcing), you'll deliver high-quality care during scheduled weekend or evening sessions.
Responsibilities
* Delivering specialist clinical services in line with NHS standards
* Supporting patient flow and reducing waiting lists
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
* Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. FRCS, FRCOphth, FRCA)
* A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
* UK Right to Work
* Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
* CCT in Ophthalmology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
