Employee Relations Partner

Hybrid working (3 days onsite)

Up to £55k + benefits


Are you an experienced Employee Relations professional ready to take on a high impact role within a forward thinking and people focused organisation? LHH is delighted to partner with a brilliant business based in Redhill to appoint a dedicated Employee Relations Partner. If you thrive on complex casework, building strong relationships, and shaping a positive workplace culture - this could be the perfect next step for you.


In this pivotal position, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, providing expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters. You will influence policy, coach managers, mitigate organisational risk, and play a key role in fostering healthy and effective working relationships.


Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide expert counsel to managers on conduct, capability, performance management, restructuring, absence, investigations, and complex casework.

• Lead and manage sensitive and complex ER cases, including Employment Tribunal preparation where required.

• Monitor and maintain all ER activity through the organisation’s case management system.

• Coach and upskill managers to strengthen capability, confidence, and consistency in handling ER matters.

• Analyse ER data, identify trends, and share insights to enable informed decision making.

• Ensure policy and process interpretation is applied fairly and consistently across the business.

• Contribute to wider People & Culture projects, research and continuous improvement activities.


The successful candidate will have:

• In depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.

• Confidence in managing complex ER cases with autonomy and professional judgment.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

• A proactive, solutions focused mindset and the ability to influence at all levels.

• Ideally CIPD qualification (or working towards).

• A calm, pragmatic and balanced approach to problem solving.

• Embraces change, champions continuous improvement and promotes a positive people culture.
