Job Overview
Our client based near Boston is seeking a Trainee Transport Planner to join them on a permanent basis working either Wednesday to Saturday 10.5 hours per day 7.30am - 6.00pm (42 hours per week).
Responsibilities
* Fully trained to be responsible for planning & routing drivers and vehicles, ensuring maximum efficiency is met.
* Gain knowledge of tachographs, drivers regulations and WTD legislation.
* Document driver information, deal with product returns, booking collections and deliveries.
Qualifications
* At least 6-12 months transport / logistics experience within a fast-paced environment, including driver de‑briefing and vehicle tracking.
* Good sense of humour, team player, hungry to grow and develop in your role and career.
* Own transport is essential.
