Role: Service Designer
Location: Remote – UK based, must have UK right to work
Rate: £550/d inside of IR35
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months
We’re working with a fintech who are hiring for a Service Designer to help them discover and act upon opportunities to drive internal efficiencies, for an initial 3-month period.
This hire will:
* Spend time researching internal processes and practices, including contextual research and shadowing with customer operatives
* Identify opportunities for measurable impact within the internal process flows and ‘as is’ ways of working
* Develop recommendations for change, working with product and engineering teams as needed – this may take the form of revised process flows, new technology or the redesign of digital products or services.
* Note: This may well require UX/product design competence to make recommendations for change. Our client has a well-developed design system, but the suitable candidate must bring UX design proficiency.
Note: This isn’t a process mapping and blueprinting project! Our client is looking for measurable impact through the recommendations made.
Essential experience:
* Significant commercial service design experience
* Expert in journey & process mapping & blueprinting, qualitative research
* Proficient UX designer; can implement designs in Figma
* Has worked on projects geared towards driving internal efficiency, working with sales and operational teams
* Has ideally considered the use of AI to drive efficiencies
