We’re hiring for a Plater to join a leading manufacturer based in Hyde, Tameside. You’ll work within a skilled fabrication team producing high-quality components for a range of industries.

* Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:15pm / Friday 7:30am – 1:00pm

What will you be doing as a Plater?
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings to fabricate products accurately to specification
* Forming and assembling steel components using hand and power tools
* Operating equipment including MIG weld tracking, seam weld, grinders, rolling machines, guillotines, auto-feed saws, and punch press
* Carrying out quality inspections to ensure finished components meet required standards
* Working to production targets while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency
What do you need?
* Experience in a similar fabrication or plating role within a manufacturing environment
* Time-served apprenticeship (advantageous)
* The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Current knowledge of fabrication tools and manufacturing processes
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
* High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
